Next Working Day Delivery Before 1pm
R Hancocks Watch and Clock Ltd are able to offer a premium service for weekday delivery before 1pm. Orders are despatched the same working day if ordered before 3pm.
- Delivery via this method will require a signature from the recipient. Please ensure someone is able to sign for your delivery before placing the order.
- Once your order is completed and on its way to you, we will send you a confirmation email with a tracking number so you can keep an eye on your parcel.
- Guaranteed Saturday morning delivery is available – please select this option when placing an order.
Items Lost in Post
Occasionally items are lost in post once they leave us. Due to postal regulations, items are not classed as lost in post for a number of days. Before a claim can be raised for lost in post items a period of 15 days must have passed without delivery of your order. Once this period has elapsed we will be able to pursue your claim.
In the unlikely event that your watch develops a fault within a short and reasonable period from receipt then please return it to us. If we find it to be faulty we shall exchange it for you, however if the fault is due to excessive wear or accidental damage you will not be eligible for an exchange. If your watch develops a fault within the period of the manufacturers guarantee then please read the section below on ‘Watches Under Guarantee’ for more information. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Watches Under Guarantee
All our watches (excluding pre-owned goods) are covered by the manufacturer’s guarantees, please consult your guarantee booklet for information on the length. You should store any guarantees and booklets safe so you do not lose them. We recommend that you read the guarantee as this informs you of what is and is not covered.
In general the manufacturer’s guarantee covers malfunctions that arise to defects in materials and workmanship. The manufacturer’s guarantee does not cover damage to the bracelet, strap, attachments or glass due to normal wear and tear, accidental damage and excessive wear and tear.
It also does not cover water damage to the watch if it has been used outside of the manufacturer’s recommended guidelines. It is worth noting that the guarantee is usually rendered void if unauthorised repairs have been carried out by a non-authorised dealer of the brand.
If your watch should develop a fault we recommend that you take it into an authorised dealer only. They will be able to confirm whether it is covered under the guarantee or not. If the watch does develop a fault which is covered by the guarantee than you can either return it direct to the manufacturer yourself, or send it to us and we will send it on your behalf.
Returns and Refunds Policy
If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, you can return it to us in its original condition and packaging within 14 days of your original purchase, this excludes all pre-owned goods.

On receipt of the items we will offer an exchange or refund for the price you paid. We cannot accept returns of watches which have been worn, adjusted or damaged unless the items are faulty. We ask you please contact us within 7 days of receipt to arrange return of the item. If you are returning an item because it is incorrect we will refund your postage costs only if the item was wrongly despatched on our part and not an item ordered incorrectly by yourself. In the unlikely event that you receive an item which is defective or damaged in transit, then you can return it to us for exchange or a full refund within 14 days of receipt, we will also refund you the cost of returning the item to us.
How to return an item to us:
Items must be returned in their original packaging and with all booklets, guarantees and product tags if they are attached.
To enable us to process your return more efficiently, please include a covering note with your item stating why it is being returned and whether you want an exchange or a refund. This should also include your order or invoice number so we can track the order.
Please allow up to 3 working days after receipt for all refunds and exchanges to be processed.
